The Royal River Grillhouse is located at the water’s edge on the banks of the Royal River. All of our dining rooms and our heated, enclosed deck offer spectacular views of the water and adjacent marina. Your guests will enjoy catching a glimpse of the blue heron and osprey as well as the harbor seals that occasionally make their way up the river.

The entire restaurant seats approximately 270 guests and on rare occasions we will accomodate the request of a private group and close to the public - usually for a wedding reception or corporate retreat. Most often, private events are hosted in one of three spaces. The most intimate of our private spaces is the upstairs Loft which comfortably accommodates up to 30 people. For groups of 25 to 50 people, we recommend the River Room.

Perhaps our most coveted spot, the outside deck offers seating for 60+ guests. The deck features a permanent canopy with drop down sides and heat torches for comfort in cooler weather. In cases of inclement weather or during seasons when our deck is not available, our main dining room may be used for larger groups of 50 to 80 people.

The photo to the left shows our River Room with plenty of windows offering beautiful views of the harbor. This space also offers a small waterside deck adjacent to the dock where customers arriving by boat come to tie up at one of our private slips.
Below is a photo of our Loft - the perfect space for smaller groups for business dinners or family events.

We don’t believe in room rental fees. Instead we have established minimum food purchases for the use of our space. The minimum is determined through analysis of the prior year’s sales and is an estimate of what the restaurant could expect to sell in that space during the time of your event. Careful consideration is taken to ensure that this minimum is a fair projection.
