What types of spaces do you offer for private use?

We have three main areas available. The smallest and most intimate space is our loft which accomodates groups of 10-25 people. The River Room is slightly larger and can comfortably seat 30-40 people. Our waterside Deck is perhaps our most coveted spot offering charming harbor views and plenty of space for up to sixty people under the canopy and an additional 40 if using the entire space. Occasionally, we will consider reserving the maine dining room or the entire restaurant for much larger groups. Please contact the General Manager and Event Coordinator for more details should this be your need or wish.

What are your room rental fees?

We do n0t charge room rental fees for the use of our dining spaces. After all, if you were coming in to eat we wouldn't charge you for the use of your table. Instead we have established minimum food purchases associated with the use of our rooms. These values reflect an average of the food sales expected in that space during the time of your use. Minimums range from $200 up to $3000 depending on the space requested, time of year and day of the week.

I am planning a small gathering. How small a group can you accomodate for a private dinner?

Our Loft space is appropriate for 25 or less guests. This is the perfect intimate space for small groups.

I am planning a wedding reception. What services do you offer?

We can help with several of the details. We are fortunate to have one of the best pastry chefs in New England as part of our full time staff. In addition to baking all of the breads, pastry and desserts for the regular restaurant guests, he is able to create the most enchanting and unique cakes and desserts for your special day, thus eliminating the need to orchestrate delivery and set up of the cake from an outside vendor and the worries associated with the cakes timely arrival. We also have a dance floor, wireless microphone, TV and DVD player available for use if desired.

Is it possible to host a cocktail party or do we have to order dinner ?

We pride ourselves with creating the perfect event that matches your vision. It's your party and we try our best to accomodate all ofyour wishes. We frequently plan traditionally elegant or light and informal cocktail parties. If this is what you have in mind, our event coordinator will assist you in planning the details.
